...the Tony Moly Aqua Aura Toner and Emulsion!
This weekend, I went on an little overnight trip, and for convenience sake, I had to travel VERY light. I would normally just leave the whole skincare thing behind but I didn't want to risk it with the cold weather, so I grabbed these from the stash of samples that I've been accumulating. I chose the Tony Moly Aqua Aura samples just because they were tiny and were in little bottles as opposed to sachets because I could just easily screw the cap back on and keep the remaining product easily.
I first used it last night right before sleeping. The toner alone left my face feeling very firm and soft at the same time. It's hard to describe. It's almost like a balloon, but softer. Perhaps, a water balloon... after you pour powder on it. (Haha! This is sounding ridiculous.) The texture of my skin was firm, soft and almost powdery (not the slightest bit sticky) at the same time.
Next, I used the Emulsion (face lotion). The texture is very light and doesn't feel oily at all. It gave my face the moisture it needed, and didn't feel the slightest bit oily after it got absorbed in my skin. I specifically used the word "absorbed in" instead of "dried off" because my face instantly felt incredibly soft. It must've been absorbed in for my face to have that kind of result! I couldn't stop touching my face right after because I was so in awe!
As a person who hates having any sort of "stuff", such as creams, lotions etc, on her face, I love that I couldn't feel a single bit of "stuff" on my face like I usually would after using face lotions and face creams.
My husband, who didn't know that I changed my skincare products for the night, kept touching my face and saying how soft it was that night and the next day (I used it again in the morning). He initially thought I didn't have anything on my face and was very happy that he didn't have to kiss a face full of "yucky" and "sticky" skincare products.
I don't usually use samples because they're often random items that do not appear in the "top products" lists and I've got some pretty awesome skincare products to use anyway. But I gotta say, this is definitely something I will consider purchasing in the future after I finish using my current products, or specially for the summer months.
Is Tony Moly Aqua Aura Toner and Emulsion a holy grail product?
The Tony Moly Aqua Aura Toner and Emulsion each have very high potential to be a holy grail product. I would definitely recommend this product to people who hate the feeling of having "stuff" on their face, and to people in hot and humid weather, such as Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and the Philippines.
Extra: I just did a quick search on the Tony Moly website for pictures and prices. They are priced at 13,000 KRW each. The Aqua Aura toner and emulsion do not appear to be top sellers, but nonetheless, from my experience using them, they are awesome products. I am now curious to try their bestsellers to see if they are any better than the Aqua Aura line. We'll see =)
