24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil Vault?! A big girl's dream!

As I was looking around the web, making a Christmas wishlist I came across...

the Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Pencil Vault!

I remember when I was young, other kids would bring their big brief-case like colour pencil, crayon, or paint sets to school and show off to everyone else. All the beautiful colours laid out in order in one box... the things I could colour! I would wish I had one too! Hence, my belief that the perfect can't-go-wrong gift for kids in lower-elementary are huge colour pencil / crayon sets.

This formula stays even as kids get older, you "upgrade" from colour pencils to colour pens. A huge set of them in all colours in normal, cream or metallic, or those fancy pens that change colours as your write.

And NEXT! Who knew? There's a big girls's 'colour pencil' dream set in the form of the Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Pencil Vault... 40 FULL-SIZE eyeliners in EVERY shade and texture that Urban Decay makes.

Click here to see this in the Urban Decay site. (this is not an affiliate link)

It has all of the current 24/7 Eye Pencil colours, among them being...

and....

It has everything a teenager's complete colour pen set would have and more! Everything to create that pop out look with their crazy-vivid brights and shimmering metallics. Then there's the dependable neutrals and mattes for the more natural looks, and dark smoky hues for that deep smoky look.

The colours in this beautiful big girl's 'Colour pencil set':
  1. Perversion (blackest black matte)
  2. Zero (zealous black cream)
  3. Smoke (deepest gray matte)
  4. Uzi (dark gunmetal shimmer w/silver micro-sparkle)
  5. Oil Slick (black shimmer w/silver micro-sparkle)
  6. Underground (metallic taupe shimmer)
  7. Mushroom (metallic taupe-pewter shimmer)
  8. Smog (copper shimmer)
  9. Roach (deep copper brown shimmer)
  10. Bourbon (brown shimmer w/gold micro-sparkle)

  17. Goldmine (gold shimmer w/gold micro-sparkle)

  38. Woodstock (sparkly hot pink shimmer w/silver micro-sparkle)
  39. Yeyo (metallic white shimmer)
  40. Cuff (metallic silver shimmer w/silver micro-sparkle)

All these, for USD 295. These eyeliners are selling for $19 individually. So, if you're thinking of buying all of these individually... well,  it'll come up to $760! O.O

It says on the site that's it's only available for a limited time, but I see it's been out for at least 7 months already. So, I don't know just how limited "limited" is.

Just like how I swooned over colour pencils and pens when I was younger, I can't help doing the same for these eyeliners. There's just something about seeing it all laid out perfectly in front of you, knowing that they're yours, and that you have the power in your hands to colour your face however you like, create any look imaginable, and being able to watch any youtube make-up tutorial and not go "Aww... I can't make that look now cos I don't have that colour".

40 beautiful great-quality eyeliners... selling for less than half its usual price... Oh! What a bargain this is! Not only do they look great, but Urban Decay 24/7 Eye Pencils are known to be among the best eyeliners out there! How tempting... how tempting... Alas, this is not for me. Not now at least. $295, though a great bargain, is still out of my budget at the moment. I will once again, be that kid that looks at kids' colour pencil sets and *sigh*.

Oh well... even if they stop selling this when I finally dare splurge on it, there is hope for me still, cos if Urban Decay made a eyeliner set like a colour pencil set now...
